FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do all students participation in School-Wide Events?
Yes, all students participate in events like Grandparents Day, Thanksgiving celebrations, and the Christmas Program. However, students who take part in Music during the afternoon enrichment block will have enhanced performance roles at these events.
What is Exordium?
A hallmark of our Enrichment/Skill Building Class is Exordium—a formal opportunity for students to perform (individually) a recitation or prepared speech before the entire school community. Whether it’s a poem, Scripture passage, or short dramatic piece, students gain confidence and poise as they speak before peers, older students, parents, and grandparents. They will be honing these skills during our Enrichment & Skill Building class. We anticipate 3–4 Exordium events each school year (during our usual chapel time), with invitations for parental attendance. If you've never seen a 5-year-old recite before a room of adults and students, prepare to be both moved and amazed. These early experiences prepare students for one of the most important milestones in a classical Christian education: the Senior Thesis.
We are deeply intentional in every part of our schedule—balancing strong academics, Christian discipleship, and family life.
