Our Model

For 2025-2026, Covenant serves students in Jr.K through 6th grade. We will plan to add one grade level each subsequent year.

At Covenant, we are a collaborative Classical Christian school committed to doing school excellently, wisely, and age-appropriately, always with the family in mind.

What does that look like in practice? It means a shorter, intentional school day that maximizes learning without unnecessary busyness. Most students are on campus Monday–Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.*, allowing for focused instruction while preserving time for rest, play, and family rhythms. For our youngest learners, the day may be even shorter—thoughtfully designed to align with their developmental needs. The core schedule for 2025-2026 is Monday - Thursday 8:30-12:30pm with Extracurriculars and Enrichment in the afternoons.

What makes our schedule unique is not just its length, but its purpose. At Covenant, we value every minute. Whether in the classroom, at recess, studying Latin, or gathering for chapel, each part of the day is planned with intention and care. We believe excellence in education comes not from longer days, but from meaningful, well-ordered ones.

To support this level of excellence, Covenant maintains small class sizes, with a student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 16:1. This allows teachers to truly know their students, provide individualized instruction, and cultivate an environment where each child can flourish.

Fridays are intentionally reserved for family time, giving space for deepened relationships, enrichment at home, and unhurried living—an essential part of our commitment to partnering with parents in the education and formation of their children.

Covenant Christian Academy is currently in the accreditation process with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and is a proud member of the Classical Latin School Association (CLSA). We are fully in compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, reflecting our commitment to integrity, excellence, and responsible stewardship.

*for 2026-2027 we are considering the option for students to stay until 2:30pm.
