Michelle Abernathy is the Preschool Director and serves as the Junior Kindergarten Teacher at Covenant Christian Academy. She holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Towson University and has over 30 years of experience teaching young children. Mrs. Abernathy is passionate about providing a Christ-centered, classical education that nurtures a love for learning, builds strong character, and points children to the truth of God’s Word. She is committed to creating a warm, joyful classroom where every child feels known, loved, and encouraged to grow academically and spiritually. Mrs. Abernathy considers it a privilege to partner with families as she helps lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning and faith. Outside the classroom, Michelle enjoys camping with her husband and spending time with her family. One of her favorite traditions is the family’s annual beach vacation with their children and grandchildren, creating lasting memories together.
