Kat Snyder’s forty-year calling to education began in 1985 following her graduation from the University of South Carolina. After thirty years in public classrooms and five years in Christian school leadership, Kat joined Covenant’s inaugural year in 2023 as an Educational Consultant—shaping curriculum, training faculty, leading chapel, and partnering with parents to nurture their children

In addition to her role at Covenant, Kat enjoys serving in the Children’s Ministry at First Presbyterian Church. Kat and her husband, Scott, have two daughters and five grandchildren (and counting). While she considers herself a latecomer to the classical model, Kat has passionately aligned her life's work with its time-tested mission to cultivate wisdom and virtue, seeking first Christ’s Kingdom. She is thrilled to continue guiding the Covenant Christian Academy family this year as our Head of School.
